If you're a fan of Stanley Kubrick's terrifying 1980 psychological horror film The Shining, or you just like freaking your friends out, the famous Apollo sweater is for you.

The distinctive blue sweater with its Apollo rocket design was worn (and torn!) by little Danny in the film, which Martin Scorsese ranked as one of the 11 scariest horror movies of all time.

Some conspiracy theorists have even claimed Danny's Apollo sweater was a kind of apology by Kubrick for his supposed role in helping fake the moon landing. 

All of our knits are handmade in the Andes Mountains by a cooperative of indigenous Ecuadorian knitters using 100 percent wool. Our sweaters are completely new, not stinky, sweat-stained and previously used “vintage” sweaters! Your sweater will be custom hand knit to order in any adult size.

    Our sweaters are made from patterns designed in the 1950’s when apparently people were a lot smaller and slim fit sweaters were in fashion. Don't worry though, we have modernized the fit of these awesome sweaters! The numerical sizing is based on actual chest measurements.
